Group Category Recognition: 

A Beautiful 1st place ribbon is awarded to all group category winners with a score of gold or higher for Novice, Level 1 & Level 2

Achievement Award (judges choice)

Adjudicators will present this special award at every session to a the performance of their choice.

Outstanding Choreography (judges choice)

Presented at each awards ceremony.

Overall Awards:  

(Novice, Level 1 & Level 2)  (Mini, Junior, Teen & Senior)  (Acro/Musical Theatre/Stepdancing/Production/Adults  will have separate overalls)

Top scores in Solo, Duet/Trio, Small Groups, Large Groups, Lines & Productions. (some levels may be put together is less than 5 entries)

Final Awards:

TOP 3 STUDIOS OF THE WEEKEND, OVERALL SOLO/SOLOISTS, 

Destined to Succeed- This will be awarded to a dancer that does not win an overall high score in solo/soloist category and the judges feel that they should be recognized as a strong, hard working dancer.

 Top Choreography – Choreographer for highest scoring routine.

 Scholarships – Exciting Scholarships (judges choice)

To Be Eligible for High Score Awards each studio must have a minimum of 5 group entries in the competition.

Cash Awards:  

• Will be presented to each level:  Mini, Intermediate & Senior.  Finalists:  Top 3 Studios, Top 3 solo/soloists

• Will be presented to Destineed to Succeed and Final Choreography Award

• A minimum of 5 entries by each studio is needed to be eligible for cash awards, Productions must have a minimum of 2 entries

• Categories with less than 5 entries with be issued a ‘Tii’ certificate that can be used for any ‘Tii’ competition for 1 year.

       In the event of a tie, both performances will receive the trophy and the cash award will be divided.

       Productions:   (Level 1 and Level 2 together)

 All cash awards will be payable to the winning studio.  MUST BE A MINIMUM OF 20 ENTRIES FOR CASH PRIZE TO BE PRESENTED

All information and awards are only provided to studio Directors

This Is It Competition reserves the right to adjust cash payments in relation to number of entries.This year at This Is It the adjudicators’ comments will be collected by Video Judge.  Each studio will receive a secure log in to Video Judge online as well as a copy of all of their performances on DVD with the adjudicators’ comments.  For more information on Video Judge please visit www.videojudge.com.
